Ben Kilgallon is a debut novelist with a keen love for medieval fantasy books, history books and MMORPGs rich with lore.

From a very early age, he found his mind drifting into a world of its own, and in his spare time, he would often find himself drawing maps of imagined worlds, alongside several characters inside them. Far from abandoning this habit, he slowly built upon this natural creativity, until one day (shortly before leaving high school), he began writing this novel, intending it to be the first of a lifelong career of follow-ups.
